Welcome to the Arena.
Each "lesson" is
something that you can
either do yourself or
work on with your horse.
My personal style of
teaching is to present
information more in
concepts than
step-by-step tasks or
techniques. Every horse
and rider combination is
unique so how you apply
these concepts in your
arena may be slightly
different than the next
person. I would like to
encourage you to make
mistakes! Don't try.
Don't be careful and it
really doesn't matter!
You are here to learn
and so is your horse.
Think about these
concepts, be willing to
make mistakes and learn
from them and just be
curious about how you
could go about achieving
the results you want.
Your horse will be an
excellent guide along
the way!
True Horsemanship is a
personal journey and
there are really no
short cuts to achieving
quality. Everyone must
pay the price of
learning and gaining
experience.
I hope you find these
lessons helpful in your
journey. |
