Thank you Kirsten! I finally had a few minutes to sit down and write you an e-mail to let you know how happy I am with our latest lessons. I have ridden Cisco a few times since our lesson and it feels better and better everytime. I am so amazed that I am not afraid of slipping off or having the saddle slide to the side. And the difference in Ace is remarkable. On Saturday we did some of the backwards walking and he was pretty much relaxed and focused the whole time (I'm still a bit clumsy). Then we walked down the street side by side and I asked him to keep up with me whether I was walking fast, slow, trotting or stopping. He did it every time. It was so much fun. He was really paying attention and it felt great to be in sync like that.

I would love to keep Ace on the lesson rotation. Marilyn and I talked about it and are both comfortable keeping our riding lessons to 40 or 45 minutes and saving some time for Ace. Does that work for you? My goal is to ride Ace again and I am sure between you and Gavin we will get there. In the future, if someone else drops out maybe I could do a full lesson with Ace, including riding!
