 Training Stick and String
Stick available in charcoal only String available in white only Why a training stick? It is shorter than a longe whip and much stiffer which gives this training aid a more direct feel from human to horse. The 4-foot stick simply acts as an extension of your body allowing you to touch and desensitize various “un-touchable” areas of your horse’s body, while remaining at a safe distance. The detachable string can be used to extend this reach or the combination of stick and string can be used much like a traditional longe whip for communication. However, the stability of the stick compared to a longe whip greatly reduces the chances of accidentally stinging your horse when you had intended just to give an encouraging touch.
